Office Design & Fit-Out

In 2017 we began work on an ambitious project to update this client’s office space and help improve everyday operational efficiency through better use of space. The client wanted more flexibility from their office premises, with the ability to offer their busy workforce different ways of working. We were delighted to oblige.

This exciting project had various requirements making it a challenging brief that drew on our ingenuity as well as our product expertise.

With a total of 1,200 workstations spread over five floors to overhaul, planning, timing and logistics were all crucial to avoid any disruption that might hinder the client’s business. To address this, our team worked out of hours for the project’s entire duration, leaving weekdays free for the office to run as normal. We even devised a system where office staff labelled their workstations on Friday, returning to carefully repositioned desks and equipment the following Monday morning.

Over the course of 3 months we managed a team of 25 contractors performing a wide range of tasks, including removing and replacing carpet, removing desks then building and positioning new ones, rearranging desk chairs and boxing up and repositioning IT hardware. We also revamped a total of 12 kitchens in just 3 nights. For the client’s peace of mind our design team was on call throughout the project, helping to make sure everything went smoothly.
