Study Group, a global leader in degree preparation and English language education, entrusted Cobus with the task of transforming an outdated student facility into a modern, state-of-the-art learning centre.

The historic five-storey building required a comprehensive refurbishment to meet the evolving needs of international students. By providing a single-sourced design and construction solution for Study Group, the goal was to create an inviting, functional space that enhances the learning experience and supports academic success. Cobus completed a full CAT A and CAT B fit out that encompassed every aspect of the building’s interior, including ceilings, partitions, HVAC, AV, plumbing, electrical, data infrastructure, and washrooms.

Working alongside Study Group, the building was redesigned to create a contemporary look and feel, introducing complimentary colours to help inspire, energise and calm the students depending on the area. A digitally enabled campus is a fundamental part of the higher education landscape: we installed state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment and robust data infrastructure throughout to support digital learning and seamless connectivity.

By transforming the out-dated building into a modern learning hub, Study Group can ensure it meets the highest standards to support the academic success and well-being of students, ultimately contributing to the institution’s reputation and appeal.
