Design & Fit-Out

We recently worked with Hartpury College and University to undertake a complete renovation of their indoor sports pitch, which they wanted to convert into a student social zone.

Taking two days to complete and working with a set budget, the project involved providing the client with a design that offered plenty of ways for the students to interact. Our brief highlighted that the client wished to move away from a corporate design and towards a more modern and design-led finish. This resulted in the installation of Fatboy beanbags, Interstuhl stools and Senator Trillipse chairs.

Although the client was happy with the end result, we did come across a few challenges. We quickly discovered that the client had a very tight timescale, so we had to work quickly and efficiently. We continued to work closely with our suppliers in order to ensure that the options were correct and fitting for the space. Despite the narrow timescale, we were dedicated to sticking to our usual working method: we never go back once we’ve committed to a design idea.

We particularly enjoyed the space we worked with and are pleased that the client was so happy with the finished result and how we handled the project.
