Meet the team – Annaleigh

This week, we’ve asked our Installation Co-ordinator, Annaleigh, about her day-to-day role at the Cobus office.

What is your name and role at Cobus?

My name is Annaleigh, and I’m the Installation Co-ordinator.

How long have you been at Cobus?

I’ve been working with the Cobus team for two years now.

Tell us about your background, and how you got to where you are now.

After finishing my degree in Events Management in 2016, I moved to Gloucester. I had never worked in an office before, but I wanted a job that allowed me to stay here. I started a job working in administration but realised that I didn’t quite like the environment however I did like working in an office. I started my job at Cobus which involved processing orders but have taken on more responsibilities since.

Tell us more about the day-to-day tasks that your role involves.

My typical day involves daily planning, scheduling installations and routing deliveries. I also co-ordinate the installations team and liaise between them and our clients. Some days I can be found raising, monitoring and processing orders and on others, I could be dealing with suppliers to ensure we receive orders on time to meet client deadlines. I also prepare orders for invoicing and confirm that all details are correct in order to reduce the likelihood of any errors.

What is your favourite part of the job?

There are many aspects of my job that I enjoy; however, if I had to pick one, I’d say I particularly enjoy organising the fitters and dealing with clients.

What’s the most funny/interesting thing that’s happened in your job?

I find it interesting spending time with the installation team when they are out on a job where I can observe how they work and interact with clients. It’s a totally different experience to being in the office.
