Kingfisher’s current workspace had become dysfunctional for their team. Our brief was to create a flexible environment which could support future growth and cater a diverse range of working styles. By removing existing offices it opened up the space allowing us to include a diverse selection of meeting spaces that was pivotal to meeting the varied needs of their team.
We employed acoustic strategies throughout the office to minimise noise disruptions. Acoustic panels were included in departmental zones to ensure that the different teams could operate efficiently without noise disruptions. The smaller meeting spaces and pods were acoustically isolated to offer private, distraction-free environments for calls and private meetings.
The layout was designed to be adaptable for future growth. With overflow workstations included in the design, Kingfisher can easily onboard new staff without compromising current workflows or office dynamics.
