Forum Coffee was created as the flagship hospitality destination within Gloucester’s landmark Forum development, helping to establish an active, welcoming environment that draws people into the building. As an independent business, the café showcases Distinctive Ethical Addictions Coffee Roasters, specialising in farm-direct coffee and celebrating quality, sustainability and community. Cobus delivered the project through every stage of our methodology, from initial design through to fit-out and completion. Working closely with Reef, Patch and the Forum Coffee team, we developed a space that reflects the brand’s independent character while complementing the wider vision for The Forum. A key focus throughout the project was achieving the client’s aspirations within budget. Through careful value engineering, we refined the design without compromising the customer experience, creating a high-quality, welcoming café that balances commercial performance with thoughtful design. The result is a destination that encourages footfall, supports the wider development and provides Gloucester with a vibrant new place to meet, work and connect.
