Completed at the end of 2025, this phased project focused on the design-led transformation of an existing building into a premium, future-ready Music School, forming part of Malvern College’s wider campus vision. Our brief was to create an inspiring, high-performing where music could be explored, taught and shared in many forms, while allowing key spaces to flex for exams and hospitality use. The design aligns seamlessly with Malvern College’s established brand identity and the aesthetic of recently refurbished campus areas. Flexibility was central to the concept. Practice rooms, teaching spaces and performance areas were designed for dual use, supported by adaptable furniture solutions that enable quick reconfiguration. Acoustic excellence underpinned every decision, ensuring sound clarity, control and comfort throughout. The final result is a visually impressive, multi-functional Music School that balances acoustic performance, wellbeing and premium design, creating an environment where both students and staff can thrive.
