In the complex and competitive field of medical supplies, workspace design and execution is a critical driver of organisational performance. Having been appointed by Summit Medical we conducted extensive consultations with cross-functional stakeholders to establish not only current but future needs, and to inform a purpose-led design.
An added, and critical, consideration was that the work would take place in a live business environment, so all activities undertaken needed to minimise disruption.
Workplace strategy was carefully followed to ensure spatial needs reflected healthcare workflows and the client’s long-term business goals. With culture and wellbeing foremost in our thinking, we created acoustic zoning and breakout spaces to promote collaboration, while optimising the availability of natural light. Clinical and demonstration zones, supporting both healthcare deliver and customer engagement, called on all our experience for their precision fit.
We also ensured Summit’s brand identity was prominent throughout. In addition, sustainability and energy efficiency were prominent characteristics of the build.
