Royal Agricultural University

We recently collaborated with the Royal Agricultural University (RAU), located in Cirencester – a long term client of ours.

At the time we had already been working with the organisation for 8 years so when the RAU approached us to assist in upgrading their new student accommodation, we were happy to help. We had delivered 8 student accommodation projects for them in the past and the quality of our work, aftercare and customer service reassured the university that we were up to the challenge.

As part of the room upgrades, we installed new furniture pieces including bench and height adjustable desking, task chairs and three-seat sofas, which were mostly from our own range, Pitch. In addition to our own Pitch desking, we incorporated Air seating chairs and ABL’s desktop power into the space.

Despite the project being successfully completed, there were a few issues that we encountered along the way. Before starting the project, we discovered that the floor boxes, which were fixed assets, were incorrectly placed. Even though this was outside the specified remit of the job, and not an issue of our making, we still took it upon ourselves to put this right, which the client was extremely pleased with.

Overall, the project took two weeks to finish and, upon its completion, the RAU were very happy with the project, stating that they loved the finished look and, overall, were delighted with the level of service delivered by Cobus – something that we were delighted to hear.
