Assured Futures
Design & Fit-OutWe recently undertook a project with Assured Futures, a specialist life and health insurance intermediary, whose brief was to make alterations to their new offices.
After moving out of their Ellenborough House offices in Cheltenham and into larger offices at Endsleigh Park, the Assured Futures team wanted their new space to feature updated designs. Our project involved installing two new kitchens, social areas, brand new glass-fronted meeting rooms and executive offices. After helping the team move out of their old offices over one weekend, their new offices were ready to move into on the Monday morning.
During the following week, we began dilapidation works at Ellenborough House, which continued over the next two months. This project was completed in three phases over a four-month period. Phase one included alterations at their new offices and phase two involved helping with the office move and re-organisation. Finally, phase three required the Cobus team to carry out full dilapidation works of the former offices.
Although the project went very well and we received positive feedback, we did face a few challenges along the way which included working with tight deadlines.
We were also required to soundproof glazed partition walls which can be a difficult task. Also, carrying out the complete office move from the town centre was one of the more time-consuming and challenging parts of the project. We had to re-organise and re-locate all staff with their IT equipment and personal belongings. However, completing the project in three separate phases allowed us to set time frames for each task meaning that we could carry out the project with maximum efficiency.
Upon completion of the project, the client expressed their gratitude and were impressed with the smooth efficiency of the moving operation.
