We recently collaborated with ICS Consulting Ltd to transform two of its rooms into an aesthetically pleasing workspace that complimented the consultancy firm’s new branding.
Having started the project at the firm’s headquarters, just off the M50 in Twyning, last summer, our team of experienced designers, fronted by project manager Lloyd Coldrick, worked on creating a professional space where important business and client meetings could be held.
One of the rooms, which was virtually empty and unused, was turned into a team area. We replaced the flooring with an Allura Flex rustic oak vinyl loose lay and pulled the room together with navy and pale aqua themes; ICS’s new branding colours.
A whiteboard wall was featured next to two poseur tables to create a new collaborative, energetic, ideas generation space for the team. The new team area also features an Orangebox ‘Away from the desk’ modular unit, which has built-in power-points for interactive team meetings.
The second room was a multifunction room that needed to cater for different sub groups working together day-to-day, as well as large board meetings once or twice a month. The original vast table functioned well but did not lend itself to the new, fresh look that the company were striving towards. With the bespoke solution of a Verco Martin conference table, it can comfortably host up to 20 members of staff – perfect for larger client meetings and multiple smaller groups.
The grey cable management strip down the centre of the table, paired with the solid oak legs, gave the room a light and fresh atmosphere, while the Frovi Jig Credenza storage units with fabric handles and innovative vision blinds, rounded off the design.
The team even decorated the entrance to the building, which is a barn conversion on a small business estate. The stone flooring and double height apex ceiling gave the reception area a homely feel, reminiscent of a Resimercial design.
In addition, the glass walls offering views of the stunning rural location in which the firm is located, made it the perfect place to install a Frovi Jig Arbour sofa, which has built-in LED lighting and a solid oak frame.
Overall, this was an exciting and vibrant project that resulted in a workspace reflecting ICS’s professional ethos and culture.
